DEN Summer Institute 2025
The DEN Summer Institute (DENSI) is back – in person! DENSI is an immersive, residential-style professional development experience where you will connect with a community of educators and learn through seminars and workshops from keynote speakers, the Discovery Education team, and members of the Discovery Education Community.

July 21 – 25, 2025 | Loyola University | Chicago, Illinois
By attending DEN Summer Institute, you will:
Discuss best practices and develop collaborative relationships with educators from around the United States
- Explore pathways such as literacy, STEM, digital citizenship, workforce readiness, and more, that support school or district initiatives
- Discover instructional strategies that support meaningful technology integration in the classroom
- Learn about product enhancements from Discovery Education, DreamBox Learning, Mystery Science, and Pivot Interactives, and have the opportunity to provide feedback directly to the product development team
While aspects of DENSI will focus on the DE products you are using in the classroom, we will also cover pedagogy and best instructional practices around teaching and learning! You’ll walk away with many inspiring new ideas!
DENSI is open to all DEN members with access to at least one product from Discovery Education’s portfolio (Experience, Science Techbook, Social Studies Techbook, DreamBox Math, DreamBox Reading Park, DreamBox Reading Plus, Mystery Science, Mystery Writing, and/or Pivot Interactives).
Different from years past, attendance at DENSI is a first-come, first-serve registration process. Once we hit capacity, we will open a waitlist and release names off the waitlist as we can.
Registration will open on Wednesday March 26, 2025 and close on Friday May 2, 2025.
