About me
Rita A. Mortenson is the Educational Technology Coach at Verona Area High School, where she empowers educators and students to use technology in innovative and creative ways. She is Discovery Educator, an Apple Distinguished Educator, a Google for Education Certified Innovator, an ISTE Certified Educator, and a National Board Certified Teacher. Rita also holds an MBA and actively contributes to the broader education community through her roles on the Discovery Education Advisory Council, the Wisconsin State Technology Advisory Board, and the ISTE Leadership Community. Passionate about leveraging technology to enhance learning, Rita is committed to inspiring curiosity, creativity, and meaningful connections in every classroom.
