Emily Strickland is an educator for Greenville K-8 Virtual School in Greenville, SC as the Middle level Math Math/Social Studies teacher. Through this role she helps motivate students to love mathematics and history and to assist in bridging the gap between skills that have been lost throughout students' education. She has 27 years of experience in middle school math in South Carolina. Emily has served in many educational leadership roles throughout her career as well as presented math concepts and social emotional learning strategies at local and national conferences. Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from University of South Carolina-Aiken, a Masters in Educational Technology from University of Phoenix Online, A Masters in Media Specialist from Jacksonville State University and an Education Specialist degree in Administration from Clemson University.
